The garden at Tremough, the campus for the Universities of Falmouth & Exeter, is a blend of historical sub-tropical planting with newly created landscapes. It boasts a number of interesting features from the Italian garden, to a walled garden and a collection of rhododendrons, dating back to the 1800’s.
The lime tree avenue dates back to the 18th century, when a herd of deer, rather than a group of students, may have been found roaming.
It is a garden that continues to evolve with plans for the future including a nut orchard and bamboo area. Our tour will be led by the Head Gardener Toby Nenning.
